MEET THE MANAGER: Mike Wilson
This is Mike’s second year with Bedlington Juniors having joined in 2015 when he coached our Tots Programme. Mike holds an FA Level 1 Coaching Badge. He has now taken forward the graduating Tots to continue their development, and also signed up some very impressive U7 players during the recent club trials. Whilst the U7s will play league matches for the first time this year, Mike upholds the view that it is still very much a case of maintaining the fun element to both the game and training, developing the boy’s skills, techniques, co-ordination and confidence throughout the process. Mike will now move forward with the group through the respective age groups. Mike has high hopes for the group for the forthcoming season and is looking forward to continuing their development this year.
MEET THE TEAM:
The U7s are a brand new team made up of our recent Tots graduates and successful trial players who have joined from other clubs. They are a really fantastic group of kids who are a credit to both the club and their families. Their continued development bodes well for the future. They will play in the Pinpoint League during the upcoming season.
